OUR HISTORY

1906	Yamagata Printing Co., Ltd. was founded by Heiji Yamagata.
1945	Reorganized from a partnership corporation to a joint-stock corporation. Heiji Yamagata took up his post as the first President.
1963	Choko Yamagata took up his post as the President.
1969	The new company building (Nishi Ward, Yokohama City) was completed.
1978	Typographic printing was completely replaced by offset printing. Construction of the facility for processing and plate-making was completed. A roman character computer typesetting system was introduced.
1983	Yamagata Technical Center Co., Ltd. was established.
1984	Yamagata Printing Manufacturing Co., Ltd.'s Fukushima factory was established.
1987	Through the founding of Manualinn Co., Ltd., an integrated production system was established.
1989	International Technoprint Inc. was established. Autek Co., Ltd, was established. Printelligence Pte. Ltd. was established in Singapore as the business hub in Southeast Asia.
1991	Page Factory Co. Ltd. was established. Printelligence (MALAYSIA) Sdn, Bhd. was established.
1995	Printelligence (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established.
1996	Choko Yamagata and Ryuji Yamagata took up their posts as the Chairman and President respectively.
1998	The trade name of Yamagata Technical Center Co., Ltd. was changed to Ycomm Company, LTD. Ycomm Europe N.V. was established as the business base in the European region.
1999	Printelligence (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. was established in Fujian province in China as a foothold in the local market. Subsequently, Printelligence Hong Kong, and Ycom (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. were established in order to strengthen our group's foundation in China.
2000	The construction of Yamagata Printing Manufacturing Co., Ltd's Hagiwara factory completed and the operation was started. Printelligence (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. was established.
2002	PF3D Works MSC was established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Printelligence (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. was established. Page Factory Co. Ltd.'s Shanghai office was opened.
2003	A new organization was established after Ycomm Company, LTD. Acquired Page Factory Co. Ltd., Manualinn Co., Ltd., and Autek Co., Ltd. while Ycomm Company, LTD.'s Miyazaki office was established. Printelligence (GuangZhou) Trading Co., Ltd. was opened. Ycomm (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.'s Shaoxing office was opened.
2004	Ycomm (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.'s Dalian office was opened.
2005	The Yamagata Group celebrated the centennial anniversary of its founding.
2005	The group name was changed to the YAMAGATA Group with the goal of further expansion of our business.
2005	YAMAGATA VIETNAM Co., Ltd. was established in Hanoi.
2006	Printelligence (MALAYSIA) Sdn, Bhd. is now known as YAMAGATA (MALAYSIA) Sdn. Bhd.
2006	YAMAGATA Corporation (Korea Office) was established in Seoul.
2007	YAMAGATA PRINT SOLUTIONS (Chennai) Pte. Ltd.was established in Chennai.
2008	A new branch of YAMAGATA EUROPE was established in Bratislava (Slovakia) on 11th March, 2008. Address: Racianska 22/A, 831 02 Bratislava, Slovakia.
